Description

Their lasting construction and conservative ratio provide you with a perfect blend of horsepower and fuel efficiency, making for optimized street usage but also reliable track performance.
3.31 Gear Ratio. This ring and pinion ratio is designed to optimize the power coming from your Mustang’s engine to deliver performance as well as fuel efficiency, without the need for other upgrades. It’s a perfect combination of speed and practicality.
Durable, Strong Steel. This ring gear and pinion kit were built to last. 8620 forged steel is used to create both, and they will stand the test of demand and time.
Recommended Upgrade. If your Mustang’s previous gear ratio was not 3.31, your computer will need to be re-tuned so your speedometer is accurate. This can be done professionally or at home, if you have a handheld tuner.
Installation. This is a very mechanically-advanced installation so you will need extensive knowledge and expertise to install your ring and pinion. It will take at least 4 hours with advanced hand tools, a car lift or jack stands, and probably a friend to help you remove your Mustang’s differential. Professional installation is highly recommended.
