Pricey but worth it.

Works just like OEM. The price is up there but it's the cheapest out there. With these being critical I wouldn't go cheap anyways. If you do longtubes, the cable is longer than stock so that's another ...

Hi, My question is I have a 2011 f150 5.0 engine in my classic 1956 ford pu and I put roush supercharger 2300 series stage 3 on the truck engine and also put the mustang gt exhaust on the truck engine. Now my question is should I install F150 oxygen sensors or the mustang sensors? also I am using the F150 ECU and wire harness. Please help if you can. I will be visiting your place in PHX shortly for a professional tune Thank you for your reply Charlie in PHX AZ

Does this sensor have a longer lead that would work in a stainless works long tube header?

MichaelK

  • This NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor is meant for the upstream O2 sensor, not the rear or downstream. The downstream O2 sensor however, would likely still require extensions for use with long tuber headers. NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor - Rear: https://www.americanmuscle.com/ntk-o2-sensor-22133.html

I have to replace it bank one sensor one so it is front passenger side or driver side ?

GT11

  • This NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor works on both sensor 1 on bank 1 and bank 2 . Bank 1 sensor 1 is the sensor on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Do I need these if I am gonna run a off road x pipe ?

Camerokiller04

  • The NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor - Front or any other Front Oxygen sensor would still be required when removing the cats. The front Oxygen sensors determine the air fuel ratio, and the Rear O2 sensors will determine emissions efficiency.

Will this plug right in to my wiring harness or do I have to cut the wires?

PrestonR

  • Hello! For this NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor - Front, on a 11-14 GT it will just plug right in. No wiring or cutting necessary!

  • This oxygen sensor is simply a replacement. The exhaust system you have should reuse the factory sensors.

got rid of my check engine light

Ever since i put in the long tube headers it fried one of my 02 sensors. Bought 2 of these bad boys (because why have 2 different types/brands on your car) and they've been doing fine with no cats. Would definitely recommend these especially with long tube headers.

    Works as advertised

It's an O2 sensor. My stock sensors were starting to fade and my fuel efficiency was diminishing, so I decided 65k miles was long enough on those sensors. The threads and electrical connection match stock as I expected and the wires are the same length as stock. It's a simple install and appears to work just fine after 5k miles.
