More Power! The Coyote powered GT Mustangs came with an awesome 412 Horsepower and 390 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Paxton Novi 2220SI Supercharger Tuner Kit you will be planting up to 1000 Horsepower to the pavement (depending on custom tuning and fuel upgrades).

Tuner Kit. Paxton Novi 2220SI Supercharger System includes a Novi 2200SL compressor with 3.80” drive pulley and the required parts a racer or tuner shop would need to build a custom supercharger intended for racing applications. This kit does not include fuel components or calibration, custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

Stay Cool. Paxton uses a high capacity air-to-air intercooler that measures 24”L x 13”T x 3.5” to disperse excessive heat effectively lowering intake temperatures to eliminate detonation and increase power.

Application. This Paxton Novi 2220SI Supercharger Satin Trim Tuner Kit is specifically designed for use on automatic and manual 2011-2014 GT Mustangs equipped with the Coyote 4V 5.0L V8 engine.

What else do I need to buy to install this kit ? And is it good for Auto transmission ? Paxton website says this kit is only for manual cars

  • This Paxton Novi 2220SI Supercharger will require fueling components and a custom calibration. Depending on your exact set-up, some other additional components may be required. Unfortunately, this kit is only compatible with manual gear boxes.

Engine modifications Will this supercharger require the engine to be rebuilt to accommodate the power?

  • No, not in and of itself if a "safe" level of boost is used. But you will need new injectors, etc. if you plan to run much boost at all. Of course if you are thinking you can push out 1,000. HP with just this supercharger as the add says, then yes, rebuilding, additional parts or a upgraded engine swap would certainly be required. (Either the smart way, before you add that kind of boost, or right after you start running that kind of boost your humble Ford engine will give it up and let you know it needs replacing)

Will this fit Boss 302 manifold? Just curious if it designed to fit Boss 302 intake manifold.....and also if there will be a black finish option in the future???

  • The Paxton Novi 2220SI Supercharger Tuner Kit is designed specifically for the 11-14 Chassis, and has not been tested on an engine swapped 94-98. This does not fit the 15+ chassis, so most likely this will not work without major modifications for your setup.

Can I run this with stock fuel rail and stock injectors for low boost? Installing this supercharger with stock injectors etc, will only require a custome tune for low boost?

  • You will need to upgrade injectors when installing the supercharger even for lower boost applications, and will require the dyno tune to properly calibrate the supercharger to your 5.0

    Very happy with the Paxton... Had to upgrade to the 50mm blowoff valve.. Paxton also offers you a extra 3 years of warranty for $50.00...
