Purchased about two years ago and that is all they last. Wires started to arc and caused car not to start. Stick with OEM

        5 2006 V6 - WilliamG Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Worth the money

These are defiantly an upgrade to the stock wires. I've noticed a small performance, the biggest difference I've notices is my Mustang runs a lot smoother again. Only short fall is they don't fit into the original wire hangers.

        5 2010 V6 - JRHamilton Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Worth the investment.

I purchased top quality plugs and I couldn't see using less than top notch wires. The whole job, wires and plugs took me less than an hour on my performance V6. I chose to remove all plugs before installing the new plugs and these wires, but I have been working on cars for a very long time. The red casings stand out nicely under the hood. They don't fit in the original guides bur some red zip ties worked nicely.

        5 2010 V6 - Likesthesound Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        1 MPG Difference

2010 4.0 V6 Base Mustang 218K Miles Screamin Demon Coil, Livewires 10mm Spark Plug Wires, and NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs gapped to .065. I added these upgrades 2 weeks ago and have seen a .94 MPG change since, with the same roads traveled back and forth to work. No notice in change of HP. 5 stars because the upgrade was easy and fuel economy improved..

i'm looking at getting a Coil Pack (probably GMS or Screamin Demon) but i wanted to know if it is really worth the price difference between the 8mm to the 10mm. my car is for commuting and it is high mileage. i'm looking for the best fuel economy (power isn't bad though) and i wasn't sure if it was really worth the fifty dollar difference. is it?

      • If you ignition system is pushing a lot, you are going to want to go with the bigger 10mm wires. The high milage of your vehicle will not matter unless other components of your engine are worn. If you are looking for the perfect distributors for you, I would recommend sticking with the 8mm unless you have a high powered ignition.
