This rear lowering spring is engineered to lower your rear ride height by 25mm, lowering its center of gravity. This translates to a more responsive handling with minimal body roll especially when cornering. These qualities are especially ideal if you’re looking to transform your ride into a legitimate track warrior.
Bold Muscle Car Stance. The lowered stance provided by this lowering spring also gives your ride that bold muscle car look that everyone loves. When combined with your Camaro’s retro-modern design, you get a style that’s sure to turn heads both on and off the track.
Heavy-Grade Build Quality. This lowering spring is made from heavy-grade spring steel for maximum strength and durability. Furthermore, this coil spring is hot formed and slowly oven tempered before being shot-peened for added strength. Finally, this spring is finished in a striking red powder coating for superior corrosion protection.
Linear Design. Linear springs (also known as standard rate springs) are engineered with a constant spring rate that stays the same as the spring compresses. This linear rate of compression allows for optimum traction and a more predictable handling feel at both low and high speeds. Linear springs will have a slightly rougher ride when compared to progressive springs. Linear rate springs are a popular choice for track and road course driven Challengers.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle’s pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this rear lowering spring may require the use of a spring compressor. Since most home garages do not have this tool, and wrong use can result in serious physical harm, professional installation is recommended.
Pedders Warranty. Pedders warranties its full range of suspension parts against defects in workmanship, materials and/or malfunction for 24 Months or 24,000 miles from the time of purchase. If a Pedders part malfunctions during the 24 Month or 24,000 mile warranty period and Pedders determines the part in question to be defective, Pedders will either replace it or repair it at their discretion. Some exceptions apply.
