If you're looking for a fresh look along with more stopping power out of the tired rear brake setup on your '94 to '04 solid rear axle V6 or GT Mustang, the Power Stop set up here in red might just be the option for you. Now, the kit we are talking about in this video will only feature the calipers and does not include any pads, so interested buyers will need to consider a new set of pads when installing. Price point for the remanufactured one-piece cast iron setup will be right around the $150 mark, and the install will involve removal of the stockers, along with bleeding the brakes themselves. So, we're going to knock this one up to a soft two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here, and maybe a couple of hours from start to finish, depending on your set up. All right, guys, obvious statement of the day here. Those SN 95s certainly aren't getting any younger and unfortunately, the factory components might just be ending or nearing the end of their lifespan. Now, Power Stop is a powerhouse in the land of stock and aftermarket braking components. And thanks to those guys they've come through a kit for the SN owners out there, looking to freshen up an old or C set of rears for a pretty affordable price, while adding a little bit of bling here at the same time thanks to that red powder coat. But in addition to just freshening up old parts, I would also like to think this is going to be a great and affordable option to complement a set of bigger or better front brakes, such as an aftermarket set of Brembos, Baers or Wilwoods, or maybe even complement a set of factory cover brakes up front. Whatever the case, let's talk a little bit more about what you are getting here from Power Stop. And again, these are a one-piece, remanufactured cast iron caliper that have been gone through diligently and upgraded with brand new components, high quality stuff including new boots, new seals, new piston, new lubricant, and basically everything that make these things 100% fresh. Finally guys, they are finished off in a bright red powder coat again, adding a little bit more appearance in the process and no doubt, will be far more durable than a traditional paint. Now, each caliper is also pressure tested before being sent out. And Power Stop actually claims that these bad boys are going to exceed the performance of your factory calipers and even toss in a three-year warranty for each set. Now, because these are a remanufactory part, the fitment both on the V6 and the GT will be perfect as expected. However guys, keep in mind that these will not fit on your Mach 1 or your Bullet in addition to the IRS Cobras. Now if you dig everything about the Power Stop rear setup here and would like to do something similar to the front, you are in luck as they do offer a front kit for the SN 95 here on this site for just south of 100 bucks. Add in a brand new set of pads, a new set of rotors, along with some fresh fluid and you're looking at a brand new braking system on that 20-plus-year-old car. Installation again will require the removal of those factory rear calipers of course, along with the e-brake cable before moving onto the installation of the new Power Stop kit. Of course, this will also require you to bleed the brakes when you are finished, which altogether will knock it up to a soft two out of three wrenches on the old difficulty meter here, and maybe a few hours from start to finish, depending on how fast you like to work. So wrapping things up guys, if the rear set up on your SN 95 is in some desperate need of TLC, then be sure to check out this quality kit from Power Stop right here at americanmuscle.com.
