Built using a billet aluminum mounting block, the starter features a durable black and chrome finish that resists corrosion while offering a polished, professional look. Its durable materials and precise manufacturing ensure long-lasting performance and visual appeal under the hood.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, with a 3/8 inch offset for perfect fitment. It replaces OEM starters with noses that extend 2 inches past the mounting surface, making it compatible with manual transmission setups using a 164 tooth ring gear.

      Application. Fits 1979 5.0L Mustang with manual transmission, 1983-85 5.0L Mustang with manual transmission, and 1995 Mustang Cobra R. It is designed to clear most headers and oil pans, including some kicked-out pans, ensuring compatibility within these specific vehicle models and years.
