      Description

The Ultra Torque High Speed Starter; 164-Tooth; Chrome delivers 25% more cranking RPM at the flywheel than standard Ultra Torque starters, providing enhanced starting capabilities for engines needing higher than normal cranking speed. It is ideal for high-performance applications such as blown alcohol engines, ensuring quicker and more reliable engine starts under demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. This starter features a machined billet aluminum adjustable mounting block for precise fit and durability. Constructed with quality materials and finished with chrome plating, it offers corrosion resistance along with a polished look.

      Installation. Designed to replace OEM starters with a nose extending approximately 2 inches past the mounting surface, installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. It fits manual transmission applications utilizing 164-tooth ring gears with a 3/8-inch offset.

      Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1979 to 1983 5.0L Mustang models equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring proper compatibility and performance.
