Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com. This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come. Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already. Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner. Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out. You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at americanmuscle.com.

More Stopping Power. Improve the stopping power of your 1994-2004 Pony with the addition of the Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rear Rotors. Power Stop makes upgrading components of your brake system easy by practicing precise machining and casting of their brake rotors. All of Power Stop's Rotors have been mill balanced for a perfect fit and to reduce the chance of any unwanted NVH.

Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Power Stop Rotors offer you dual benefits. The drilled holes allow for up to 180 degrees of cooling over stock under hard braking and slots, which create a clear contact patch between your pad and rotor and are designed to sweep away gas and dust. Power Stop Rotors are crafted from the finest blanks on the market and feature G3000 grade castings that have been silver zinc plated to resist rust.

Application. This rear pair of Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors are specifically designed for use on 1994-2004 GT and V6 Mustangs.

  • The Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled & Slotted Rotors is the same size as the stock rotor and will not protrude any further than the stock rotor. If you wheels fit over the stock rear rotor and caliper, then these will certainly fit without any clearance issues.

    Eazy Job

This swap out waz so simple. My Mustang is lowered with low pro tires, I don't recommend not using stands but I did not. The swap waz so eazy, quick and I have no rusted nuts or bolts that would require a lot of force for removal. I would recommend new calipers and a fluid change also. But if your a silent ride person slotted aren't for you. There is a small amount of chatter during heavy breaking. Over all I am pleased and the price can't be beat.

love em. will always buy these rotors

Installed these rotors along with some ceramic pads from a local parts store for the lifetime warranty since my car is daily driven. Noticed a moderate difference in stopping power. Been running them for about 4 months now with no problems. No cracks or anything. But not only do they perform well. They look great. They dont rust and look bad like factory rotors do. They look amazing everyday behind my rims. Im a customer for life.

Great Combo at a Great Price

These look great and on the ride home from the dealer, a huge improvement. I still need more time in both dry and wet to really feel these out and 'break them in' and check for noise. This isn't the my first PowerStop drilled combo. This set actually replaced drilled rotors and ceramic pads that lasted almost four years- in stop and go traffic. However, the AM price was far less than what I paid four years ago from another source! I wish that I would have known that I needed to replace my rear calipers before I ordered this kit, as it would have made for a more complete replacement. So, back to the AM shopping cart for calipers. If you're going to spend $200-$300 on your Mustang- put that money in stopping power.

Good product. Opened a can of worms tho...

First off, this product is great and AM shipped the correct parts out fast. The rear brake job took a day and a half to do since the caliper slide pins on the bottom (closest to the road) were rusted and frozen on each side, inhibiting movement. Required some persuasion to remove from caliper brackets and a trip to the parts store...on my bike... for new pins, grease and seals. The rotors fit fine and look snazzy tho.

    A Great Product

Had to replace bracks and rotors for inspection and decided to try these. They look great and feel a lot better then stock brake rotors they leave the brakes cool and don't leave them feel spongie under stress. It was a easy install and the fit was perfect.

    Much improved braking!

These came as described...fit and finish were excellent. Took a few hours to install since my old brakes took some time to get off. Install was easy and braking is much improved. They look great and perform well for stock replacement upgrades. I will purchase again when needed.
