Description
High Performance Flexplate. The PRW Power Pro Series Xtreme Duty SFI Rated Flexplate; 8-Bolt is designed to handle extreme duty applications typical of high horsepower engines. It transfers torque from the engine to the transmission efficiently and reliably, making it an essential component in performance drivetrain setups.
Construction and Appearance. Made from cold-rolled premium steel, this flexplate features a 4mm thick centerplate for enhanced rigidity. The forged one-piece steel ring gear is precision welded using robotic and cold-welding processes to meet SFI 29.1 safety specifications, combined with a double weld for maximum durability.
Installation. The flexplate is a direct bolt-on component with no drilling required, simplifying installation. Its 8-bolt crank design ensures compatibility and ease of fitment.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 96-04 Mustang Cobra and Mach 1 models, this flexplate accommodates multiple converter bolt patterns for versatile use within these vehicles.
