      Description

      Upgraded Performance. Give your '79-'05 Mustang the performance it deserves with the Pypes Catted X-Pipe. Your Mustang’s factory mid-pipe does not efficiently harness the exhaust gases exiting your vehicle. This X-pipe replaces your stock mid-pipe, and ensures gases exit quicker, resulting in your exhaust system “breathing” better. This less-restrictive quality, in turn, increases power and torque.

      Throaty and Aggressive Exhaust Growl. Not only does the Pypes Catted X-Pipe improve performance, but it also improves how your Mustang sounds. This X-pipe transforms your exhaust sound into a throaty low-rumble when idling that builds-up into a gravelly mid-range growl when accelerating. Moreover, your new sound, while aggressive, is never obnoxious.

      Includes High-Flow Catalytic Converters. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe replaces your stock catalytic converters with a pair of high-flow cats. These cats’ high-flow design is a definite improvement over your stock system, which tends to be more restrictive. Moreover, these catalytic converters feature a high platinum load ensuring lower emissions and compliance with EPA standards.

      Robust Build Quality. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe is manufactured from 2.5-inch wide, high-grade 409 stainless steel tubing for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Each of this X-pipe’s tubing is completely mandrel-bent, eliminating turbulence and improving rigidity. Likewise, the included catalytic converters are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and feature a factory-style ceramic substrate.

      EPA Compliant. This Pypes Exhaust is 48-state emissions compliant.

      Application. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe fits all 1979-1995 5.0L Ford Mustang models.

      Application Note. Installing the Pypes Catted X-Pipe will require a re-tune of your ECU since you will be replacing your vehicle’s catalytic converters.
