      Description

      Safety Minded. When manufacturers build their vehicles they obviously build with specific parts in mind and this includes wheels. They do, however, make allowances so that you can replace those stock wheels with aftermarket units. In most cases there is no problem, everything centers and mounts properly when care is taken to select the correct fitment of your wheels. Sometimes, however, vibration can occur because the wheel just won't center on the hub. You can prevent and resolve this problem by installing a set of Race Star 78.1mm/70.6mm Hub Rings on your Mustang.

      Eliminate Vibration. These hub rings are made of heavy-duty, industrial plastic and are installed between the vehicle hub and the wheel. They are designed to fill the empty space between the wheel hub and the center bore of the new rim and thus eliminate any shifting which will result in vibration and shuddering.

      Installation Notes. Very simple to install but with big results if you are having problems. Before you install your new rims but after you have removed the old wheel you simply slide the hub ring onto the hub of your vehicle and then proceed to install your new rims as normal, paying attention to properly torqueing them in place.
