      Performance Upgrade. If you are looking for a clutch that will handle the added power of your many bolt-ons, but that is still daily driver friendly, the RAM HDX clutch is for you. RAM balances high performance features like higher clamp loads with great driveability, resulting in a clutch you can drive every day without getting a leg workout on every shift.

      Daily Driver Friendly. Designed for 'Stangs with the type of bolt-on mods and mild power enhancements that make driving your Pony so much fun, they're still street-friendly and are grippy enough for strip use.

      200 Series Organic Disc. RAM HDX Clutch kits are designed to provide increased clamp loads compared to stock for a strong "bite," paired with RAM's 200 series organic clutch for street friendliness. The 200 series disc is a heavy duty organic facing material with an five spring center hub for excellent shock absorption and engagement.

      Application. This Ram HDX Mustang Clutch is designed for the 1996-Mid 2001 GT, 1993-1998 Cobra, and 1986-1995 5.0L Mustangs with the T-5 or T-45 transmission that have upgraded to a 26 spline input shaft. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels.

        Great Clutch

        Great clutch for my TKO swap in my fox. Everything looked great, packaged nicely and best of all the pedal effort is minimal and no chatter. I know I’m pushing the clutch to the max possibly but I guess I’ll find out. I have about 400rwhp and so far so good. I wanted a great driving clutch because I drive my car quite often.

      I recently bought this clutch kit bout 2 weeks ago and I'm about to put it on my 1998 mustang gt, but when I put the throw out bearing in it's really loose on the input shaft, like there's a lot of play in it, is that supposed to happen or did I screw something up?

      what clutch kit? my mustang is a saleen with a 6 speed what is the right clutch kit to get

      • You should have the T-45 transmission in your '00 Saleen - they had the same bottom end as the GT. You'll want to double check by looking at your door tag on the driver's side door jam. Once you are positive the trans, you will want to determine how much HP your Saleen has currently and what your plans are in the near future to determine which option is best. I'd suggest contacting one of our Mustang Experts so they can get a feel for your plans and help you pick the perfect clutch for you!
