      Great clutch for the money

Overall clutch performance is very well, I also installed a new cable and firewall adjuster at the same time. Old clutch could not handle the ported eaton any longer but this does the job while still having decent drivability, pedal is a little heavy but and clutch grabs strong and well worth the money.

      Chatter Chatter Problem Chatter

I am not happy with this clutch, All I wanted was a replacement clutch without having to press so hard on the clutch pedal (2003 Cobra). The clutch is easier than factory, but ther were some trade offs. if it wasn't for the hassle of pulling the transmission, I would have returned it. The problem I have with it is the chatter when engaging the clutch. If you try to feather it out, it can sometimes vibrated so hard that I can physically see the steering wheel/column shake. During break in, the clutch would cause a heavy vibration at higher RPMs. What is disturbing is that I had the flywheel turned (Factory# and balanced at a speed shop. It didn't do this all the time either, mostly just starting out on first gear. I made the mistake of not replacing the clutch quadrant, now after not even 10,000 miles I can hear the throwout bearing making noise and I am going to have to replace it. I am going to see if I can have better luck with a different style/manufacturer of clutch. If you do buy a this Ram Clutch, you absolutely have to get an adjustable clutch cable as indicated by the manufacturer. I went the cheap route and only added an adjuster, don't do this! replace the quadrant as well, the factory auto ratcheting system can cause problems if someone lifts up the pedal or side steps the clutch. My wife did this while borrowing the car and now my syncros are fried because the clutch didn't fully disengage. Atleast it doesn't slip. :#

      Great product!!

This product is great! The clutch pulls like no other. The clutch is stiff at first but you will get use to it!! Also you can use your stock flywheel too but recommend upgrading to a aftermarket one. Great clutch! Thanks AM
