Raxiom's 9007 bulbs we're taking a quick look at today are going to be a good option or any Mustang owner out there that's in need of a direct factory-style replacement bulb, and one that's not going to cost that much. These bulbs are going to let you switch over from that factory-style yellow bulb to get into something that's going to be that much more modern-looking, whiter, and brighter, compared to your factory setup. Install-wise, you're looking at a very easy one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here, and about a 30-minute job. I'll show you how coming up soon. Raxiom's 9007 bulbs, which are a factory-style replacement, were designed to produce a mirror white light that's going to light up any road. The bulbs are going to be produced in a 4,000k temperature, which is going to be pretty similar to an HID-style light. But it's not going to come with the cost or needing to do any type of wiring work when it comes to install them. Now, I'll throw it out there that with fog light HID kits, they're usually not that great, just because they're going to produce a blue light compared to a white light here. What that's going to do is essentially bounce off the fog, and come right back into your face. Now, these 9007, or HB5 bulbs, are going to be a dual-filament bulb. What that means is that you're going to have the low and high beam right in one package. Price-wise, expect to be spending about $20 to $30 to get these onto your car. I honestly think it's a small price to pay to get that front end back into check, and get away from that factory-style yellow bulb into something that's going to be that much more modern, whiter, and brighter. Compared to some of the other big names out there, guys, Sylvanias are going to run about $20 more. If you're looking into an LED conversion kit, you should expect to be spending around $100. Install-wise, you're looking at a very straightforward and an easy one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, about 30 minutes from start to finish. So to start, you're going to want to lift up the metal tabs or brackets holding your factory headlights in place, and simply pull them straight up. Once you're able to access the back of the headlight, it's going to be as simple as taking your factory bulb, turning it counterclockwise, pulling it out, unplugging the connection, plugging it back in with the new Raxiom bulb, screw it in place, you're good to go. That's my quick review of Raxiom's Elite 9007 headlight bulbs, fitting your '87 through '04 Mustang, which can be found right here at americanmuscle.com.
