Justin: The Smoked Raxiom Halo Tail Lights that we have here today will be a wild choice for the 2015 and newer owners who might be looking to take a break from the stock tail lights and add a touch of that Ford GT styling instead. Now, the Raxioms will combine a smoked polycarbonate lens with those modern LEDs all for right around the high $700 price point. Now, install will be a total plug-and-play job here, guys, with no modification needed. So, expect a relatively soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, maybe 30 minutes of your time to knock this one out from start to finish. But, as always, hang with me for a bit we'll walk you through this job later in the video. So, first things first, guys, these particular tail lights from Raxioms are designed with a certain Ford GT in mind, and the styling is obviously gonna be very similar to that in regards to your basic shape or overall design. Now, as you can tell, the Raxiom tail lights are going to completely replace your factory tri-bar tail lights on your S550 with a more modern GT-inspired circular tail light, which in this case is gonna utilize a smoked lens here, which is gonna, I think, flow a little bit better with that gloss black decklid panel. But, if you wanted, you could always go with a more factory-styled red lens instead, which is also available here on the site from Raxiom. But what do you say we talk about components, guys, operation, construction, all that good stuff? And as far as your build is concerned, well, you are getting a durable ABS plastic housing, which has been given that same kind of piano gloss black finish as the rest of the deck lid panel on your S550. So again, the look is gonna be very consistent once installed. Now, the smoked portion of the lens here will be made from an impact-resistant polycarbonate material. And inside those lenses, you'll find the modern LEDs that will handle things like the brake lights, turn signals, and, obviously, your hazards. Now, the operation is actually pretty cool here because yes, you are, obviously, getting the basic stuff such as your running lights, your brake lights, all that good stuff. They're all gonna be extremely bright by the way, thanks to the modern LED, but these are also still gonna retain that sequential feature for your turn signals in a unique way. Now, what I mean is because of the circular nature of the Raxiom lights here, the sequential aspect or effect is basically going to have the circle close up in three different sections which is cool, and, again, I just think a little bit of a different spin to the more traditional factory tri-bar or sequential tail lights. Now, I do wanna point out here quickly, guys, that the Raxioms at this time are not DOT-approved, but they do feature a very simple plug-and-play install with no wiring or modification needed. With that being said, this is a great time to segue into the install. And, again, a plug-and-play job. Gonna go down very quickly, very easily in the garage or driveway. And to prove that to you, feel free to check out our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown now.Man: The tools you'll need for this job is a trim removal tool, a ratchet, and a 10-millimeter socket. Hi, everyone. Today, we're going to be installing a set of LED tail lights on our 2015 Mustang, but before we can do that, we've got to uninstall the stock tail lights, so let's get started. Okay. Once you've got your trunk open, the first thing we need to do is remove the trim panel on the back of the trunk by removing four knobs that hold it in.Okay. Once you have the two removed from the passenger side, you can go ahead and remove the two from the driver's side. Now we can lift our trim panel up and away from our trunk panel and get it out of the way. Now we can use our trim removal tool to remove the push pin on each side so that we can have access to the tail light. Now you can take the one out on the other side. Now we can pull the carpet out of the way to give us access to the three bolts that are holding our tail light in.Now, by moving this carpet out of the way, it gives us access to the third bolt behind the panel here. We've got one here, one here, and then the third one back here where you can't really see. And we're gonna remove those with our 10-millimeter socket. Now we can go ahead and disconnect our electrical connector in the back. Now, the next step is just to slide the tail light out. Now, the next step is to slide the tail light out, so that we can remove the grommet with the electrical connector on the back of the panel. Now you can move on to the other side and remove the other one. Now we're ready to install our new tail lights, and we're going to reverse the process that we used to uninstall. So, our first step is gonna be the slide our harness into the truck panel and install the grommet. Now we can slide our studs through the holes in the trunk panel. And don't forget the hidden stud in the back corner. Now tighten it down with our 10-millimeter socket. After we've got our nuts tightened down, we can go ahead and connect our electrical connectors. And repeat for the other side. And push our carpet back into place. Now we're ready to reinstall the push pin. Now, repeat the install steps for the other side, and then we can install our trim panel. Now we can install our four hold-down knobs, and our installation is complete. Now, repeat the process for the other side, and we're good. And that wraps up our review and install of the Raxiom Halo LED Tail Lights in Gloss Black Housing with Smoked Lens for '15 and newer Mustangs. Thanks for watching. And remember, for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
