Hey, guys. Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Raxiom Smoked LED Fog Lights, fitting all 2015 and newer Mustangs with factory fog lights. So in this video, I'll be going over the functionality and styling of the Raxiom Smoked LED Fog Lights when adding them to the front end of your S550, and I'll even talk about the materials and construction. Toward the end, I'll touch on the installation, which I'll let you know up front requires a very minimal amount of splicing. But is still a simple enough job to take care of in the driveway at home, which is why I'm going to still give it a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. The Raxiom Smoked LED Fog Lights will be for all 2015 and newer Mustang owners out there with factory fog lights installed, looking to swap those boring OEM options out for a more aggressive and stealthy option with a smoke lens over bright LEDs. The LED fog lights I have with me today from Raxiom offer a very aggressive direct replacement for your factory fog lights to switch up those boring options, give it a more unique look to the front end of your S550. With these installed, not only are you getting rid of the factory incandescent options, but you're switching them up for an LED six times over on each fog light and actually have a halo effect when installed with your DRLs. If you're not too familiar with what DRL stands for, that's gonna refer to your daytime running lights. Basically what that means is, while swapping out your factory fog light options, you're switching out for a more attractive, smokier, aggressive fog light like I mentioned before with the six LEDs in each of the fog lights. With those six LEDs, you are also getting a halo that, when minimal amount of splicing is involved, you can get some daytime running light halo lights in addition to the six LEDs installed in these fog lights.Moving along to materials and construction, this thing has a black housing made of all OEM-quality materials, which you know is extremely durable and long-lasting, something you can definitely rely on. In addition to that, you are getting the smoked lens, as I mentioned, gives you that aggressive design, switching up the front end to make it a little bit meaner than it already is. Inside the housing, you're getting the six outer white LEDs, of course, brighter than the factory incandescents. Now, in addition to that as well, you are getting the halo styling that goes along with it, and in the middle, you get a brighter single LED that'll blend in perfectly with your upper headlights. In addition to the high-quality materials here, you are all backed and given peace of mind by a full two-year warranty, which is a trademark move from Raxiom. A few years ago, I had my own Raxiom products on my own Mustang, and, of course, after a long time, where like most things, they do sometimes go bad. But of course, the two-year warranty was there to have my back, just like it is yours. In addition to that, you can pick these up for about 300 bucks. In my personal opinion, not too bad of a price tag at all, switching up the look of your front end. And I do think it is a very worthwhile price, considering the design overall, and the smoked lens just tops it all off.Shifting gears over to the installation portion of the video, like I said in the very beginning, this is a fairly simple job anybody can take care with a little bit of time in the driveway at home. It does require a minimal amount of splicing, but it's so minimal, I am still gonna give this a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Then again, if you're not comfortable doing a wiring job, no matter how simple it is, there's no shame in taking it to a professional to get this done properly. Now, if you are tackling the job yourself, this is something I believe you can do with a little bit of time. I'd say about two hours in the driveway at home, considering that splicing is involved. Once that's taken care of, after you follow the directions for that, it will be a pretty much direct plug and play connection from that point on. With that said, the simple ratchet and socket set will be needed to remove your factory fog lights, but once you swap them out, all the wiring is taken care of here for you. Now, with that out of the way, with a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, with this particular set of fog lights from Raxiom, you are getting a very unique setup for the front end of your Mustang. Giving you a nice halo design to work with your daytime running lights and a center light to work in conjunction with your upper headlights. With that said, if you are looking for that unique styling, you might wanna check out the Raxiom LED Smoked Fog Lights, which of course are available for all 2015 and newer Mustangs with factory fog lights installed, all of which can be found right here at americanmuscle.com.
