Hey I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I'm taking a closer look at a couple of very unique fog light options from Raxiom, I have with me the smoked and chrome CCFL halo fogs, available for all 2013 and newer Mustangs. Raxiom is without a doubt the industry leader in producing a wide variety of unique and cool aftermarket lighting for your Mustang, all backed by a full 2 year warranty. And if you want to see the rest of Raxiom's line up for your ride you have to subscribe to our YouTube channel, just by clicking the link below or on the AM logo in the corner. This way you can stay up to date with all of the latest Raxiom products for your ride, along with a brief breakdown. Up until recently your aftermarket fog light options for the 13 and 14 GTs have been slightly limited, well that's all changed now thanks to Raxiom with their yellow fog lights, and now these CCFL halo options. The first option, the chrome option, utilizes a chrome housing along with a crystal clear lens to achieve more of an OE look. The second option, the smoked look, uses that same chrome housing but with a dark smoked lens to achieve a look slightly more sinister. If you're not already watching this video on our site and you want to see more pictures of these fog lights in action, along with some customer reviews, you can simply click on the link below to head back to our product page. Both looks do sport the very cool CCFL halo accent lighting which in my opinion looks great on its own, or even better when paired up with a set of halo headlights, like we have installed on our 2014 GT behind me. As for those halos themselves well they do illuminate by themselves when the parking lights are switched on, or the halos will illuminate along with the fog light bulbs when you do switch the fog lights on. Speaking of those fog light bulbs you'll be happy to know the Raxioms do reuse your factory LED bulbs, so there's no need to purchase any extra bulbs or wiring. They also mount in the OEM location using the factory mounting brackets, so the install really isn't all that bad. You will need to drop the front bumper down to access the fog lights, in addition using the supplied wire tap to tap the halos into your fog lights harness. It may sound like a lot of work but you should be able to bang everything out in about an hour from start to finish. If you should get a little tangled up, don't hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service team, you can call them at 855-422-7439, or shoot them an email at support@AmericanMuscle.com, they'd be happy to walk you through everything. So if you're looking to compliment the halo headlights of your 13 or 14 GT, or you just want to make a statement with the headlights alone, you have to check out Raxiom's smoked or chrome halo fog lights, available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Aggressive Styling. Add a more aggressive look to your Coyote Powered Mustang with a set of Raxiom Smoked CCFL Halo Fog Lights. These Smoked Fog Lights feature an integrated CCFL accent "Halo" ring that adds an intimidating appearance to your GT Mustang.

Improves Visibility. Now you can improve your visibility in dark foggy weather by replacing your old scratched and faded factory fog lights with a brand new set of Raxiom Fog Lights from AmericanMuscle.

Full Warranty. Raxiom lights feature an "Industry Leading 2 Year Full Warranty".

Installation Note. This set of Raxiom Fog Lights reuse the factory LED bulbs and install in the stock location using the factory wiring harness and mounting brackets. The CCFL Halo Accents include two wires that connect into your factory parking lights.

DOT Approved. This pair of Mustang Fog Lights are DOT (Department of Transportation) approved for legal street use under compliance # QR1200182.

Application. This set of two Smoked Raxiom Fog Lights with CCFL Halo's are designed to fit the 2013 to 2014 GT Mustangs equipped with factory fog lights. Driver and passenger side fog lights are included. These Lights do not fit V6 or Shelby GT500 models.

When do these turn on? After installing as per instructions, do these turn on whenever the DRL strips turn on, or do I have to manually turn them on all the time?

    • The Halos are indeed connected to the parking lights and thus tied to the parking lights. You will want to wire them to the same source of power as your DRL's.

      Badass looking

These fog lights aren't really that hard to install, the only difficult part is getting the factory bolts out. I found it much easier to take the bumper off. My only complaint about the halo rings themselves is the small gap of light at the bottom of the halo. Raxiom should flip the halo and put the gap at the top because the grille covers it up. Other than that no complaints.

      BUYER BEWARE in High Humidity

These were installed on my car when I bought it in 2016. No idea how long they were on there. Moved to FL the week I bought the car. About 7 months ago, my right fog light burned out. Looked at the Raxiom housing and there was moisture/condensation ALL OVER THE LENS! I have no doubt this is what cause my '14 LED Fog light to burn out. They look good, but don't hold up to high humidity or lots of rain.

Review from Raxiom Chrome Fog Lights - CCFL Halo (13-14 GT)

Sharp looking but one design flaw...

These lights are sharp looking and overall a nice detail; however I noticed a design flaw that prevents them from being 5 stars. The halo has a opening that likely m as obtains the structure of the light (i.e. if it were a full circle it maybe compromised); the flaw is that the opening is made on the bottom and visible. If it was designed to allow the halo to be turned upside down, the opening would be on the top and hidden from view (the way it sets in causes this effect). Bottom line: the design needs to allow for the rotation, be made with gap up, or made as continuous circle. Overall, I dont regret getting them but they have the potential to be a 5 but are a 3.

      Sweet!

These lights are SWEET - big improvement from the stock ones. Install was not too bad considering you need to remove the bumper/nose piece for access. Definitely a two person job, but the actual light installation is almost "plug and play". Well worth the effort and very happy with the results

      Great

These add an awesome look to the front. Very easy and detailed install directions. Only thing I could complain about is the use of the scotch locks. I trashed them and soldered the wires with heat shrink over the top.

      Challenging but worth it.

As usual for me, It took me 2 full installs to get the product functional. The instructions as usual aren't that great but simple in terms of wiring (which I'm a noob at electrical). I followed the instructions to remove my bumper and stock headlights (easy). The skotchlocks or crimps I had to youtube how to work but once that was complete I was able to wire them up to test functionality (worked first try). The difficult: Placing the bump / plastic Styrofoam in place with out damaging the wires / where to route the wires. After crimping the wires I struggled to install the bump and foam back onto the vehicle often causing the wires to tear or rip out of the supplied crimps. I fixed with the extra crimps and got all the panels placed back on. Problem ... Driver side Halo doesn't. The wire was not routed correctly from the fog light adapter / mount. Solution / Recommendation: Remove the skid plate completely. Unfasten all connections to bumper (there are 5). Remove bumper. Mount and secure the new halo fogs to bumper. Hold bumper back on the vehicle and inspect under your car (since the skid plate is removed) and LOCATE where it is safe to route the wires. (Had i done this, i would not of ran out of crimps, and had to learn how to solder. Now that thats solved, I absolutely love my smoked halos and near front end appearance.

      Menacing in the dark

These lights add a great aggressive look that definitely draw attention. I get a lot of compliments and see heads turn for the unique look. I had a shop install them, took about 30-45 mins. They're slightly bluer than the running lights on the sides of the headlights, but it mostly shows more in pictures than by looking in person. They are nearly invisible in the daylight though, and there are halos I've seen that were clearly visible in daylight while not being blinding at night. Other than that, I love them and would recommend to any other Mustang owner.
