Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com here with a Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multigauge for 2015 and up S550 GT Mustangs. The Raxiom OBD2 Multigauge is a single gauge that has the capability to display a few different aspects of your car's performance. It gives you the ability to monitor how your car is running and it's a great option for those guys who want something small and discreet but something capable of giving the driver a great overview of the stats of the OBD2 data. This one gauge does the job of multiple gauges so if you don't feel like decking your S550's interior out with multiple gauges, then you should check this thing out some more. So looking at this gauge sitting here it really doesn't look like much, but that's the beauty of it. It's made to integrate right into the vent and it sits in the bottom of the vent perfectly. Just flip open the vent and pop out the lower vent slots so you can see the gauge in the bottom half of the vent. So now you don't have to do any drilling or install any housings to get a gauge into your car. You also won't have any wires running in the interior since all of the wires will be contained behind the dash. And this is just a really clean and unintrusive way to get a ton of vital info. This gauge shows one stat at a time, whichever stat you prefer to monitor. It's a very capable gauge. It taps into the car's OBD2 port, which gives you the ability to view a ton of data in real time. This means data like boost and vacuum, cooling temp, intake air temp, speed, RPM with a shift light, battery voltage, exhaust, gas, temp and those are just some of the highlights. This is pretty much like a car full of gauges or a mount and handheld tuner all in one little gauge that's easily hidden and that doesn't need to be mounted anywhere externally in the interior. Even a hand held tuner would need to be mounted somewhere if you wanted to use it to monitor stats. This gauge will also read and clear codes so it does it all. This also has on the fly calibration for setting units if you guys want to get technical with it and ambient calibration as well. This thing will actually show you some other cool things too like your ignition timing and actual throttle play position. There is a record and playback capability as well and a 0 to 60 performance timer with an auto start and stop. As for the appearance side of things, like I mentioned earlier this jimmy jam has a digital display with white numbers and blue bars and this matches the S550's interior. Raxiom was all about integrating it in the interior with this gauge and making it look natural in the interior so of course, it's got to match. And speaking of that, what I've got with me here is obviously just the gauge itself, but Raxiom does also over the gauge pre-installed in a vent which will save you the trouble of taking apart your vent yourself to get the multi-gauge installed. When it comes to price, the gauge itself and the gauge pre-installed in the vent are obviously going to have a difference in price, but you're looking at close to $400.00 for the gauge by itself or about $50.00 more for the vent-gauge combo. This does sound high for a gauge but just keep in mind that this is an all-in-one gauge that has other capabilities like the code reading and clearing and the shift light as well. So you are getting a lot with a single gauge that's well-hidden and tucked away. So the install here is really pretty easy and that's thanks to the plug and play design. You can expect a simple 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter and I'll give you a quick overview of how the install goes so you can see how easy it is. But just know that if you decide on the gauge that's pre-installed in the vent, then some of these steps won't be necessary. The main dash panel will need to come off so you can get to the vent and the vent comes out easily by releasing some clips that are holding it on into place. You will need to disassemble the vent some, so you've got to pull the trim ring and the slot bracket so you can pop out that lower vent slat since that's where the gauge will sit. Then the gauge installs and you reassemble onto the vent bracket and into the vent barrel. There will be a little hole to feed the cable through the back of the vent. After that, it's just a matter of reinstalling everything back into the dash and feeding the gauge wire behind the dash through the OBD2 port. If you would like some of the other features like the analog inputs, the dimmer or an analog boost sensor connection there will be some other simple wiring in addition to the install, but nothing too serious. Wrapping things up here, this OBD2 Multigauge from Raxiom is a highly functional gauge that integrates into the interior seamlessly without having to add on anything onto the dash. It sits right in the first vent closest to the driver and it's a plug-and-play gauge that taps into the OBD2 port and that opens up a ton of information and stats about the car and how it's running. There's a ton going on with this gauge so as always I suggest you check it out more online for yourself right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
