    Review & Install Video

Hey guys, Stephanie with here with a Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multigauge for 2015 and up S550 GT Mustangs. The Raxiom OBD2 Multigauge is a single gauge that has the capability to display a few different aspects of your car's performance. It gives you the ability to monitor how your car is running and it's a great option for those guys who want something small and discreet but something capable of giving the driver a great overview of the stats of the OBD2 data. This one gauge does the job of multiple gauges so if you don't feel like decking your S550's interior out with multiple gauges, then you should check this thing out some more. So looking at this gauge sitting here it really doesn't look like much, but that's the beauty of it. It's made to integrate right into the vent and it sits in the bottom of the vent perfectly. Just flip open the vent and pop out the lower vent slots so you can see the gauge in the bottom half of the vent. So now you don't have to do any drilling or install any housings to get a gauge into your car. You also won't have any wires running in the interior since all of the wires will be contained behind the dash. And this is just a really clean and unintrusive way to get a ton of vital info. This gauge shows one stat at a time, whichever stat you prefer to monitor. It's a very capable gauge. It taps into the car's OBD2 port, which gives you the ability to view a ton of data in real time. This means data like boost and vacuum, cooling temp, intake air temp, speed, RPM with a shift light, battery voltage, exhaust, gas, temp and those are just some of the highlights. This is pretty much like a car full of gauges or a mount and handheld tuner all in one little gauge that's easily hidden and that doesn't need to be mounted anywhere externally in the interior. Even a hand held tuner would need to be mounted somewhere if you wanted to use it to monitor stats. This gauge will also read and clear codes so it does it all. This also has on the fly calibration for setting units if you guys want to get technical with it and ambient calibration as well. This thing will actually show you some other cool things too like your ignition timing and actual throttle play position. There is a record and playback capability as well and a 0 to 60 performance timer with an auto start and stop. As for the appearance side of things, like I mentioned earlier this jimmy jam has a digital display with white numbers and blue bars and this matches the S550's interior. Raxiom was all about integrating it in the interior with this gauge and making it look natural in the interior so of course, it's got to match. And speaking of that, what I've got with me here is obviously just the gauge itself, but Raxiom does also over the gauge pre-installed in a vent which will save you the trouble of taking apart your vent yourself to get the multi-gauge installed. When it comes to price, the gauge itself and the gauge pre-installed in the vent are obviously going to have a difference in price, but you're looking at close to $400.00 for the gauge by itself or about $50.00 more for the vent-gauge combo. This does sound high for a gauge but just keep in mind that this is an all-in-one gauge that has other capabilities like the code reading and clearing and the shift light as well. So you are getting a lot with a single gauge that's well-hidden and tucked away. So the install here is really pretty easy and that's thanks to the plug and play design. You can expect a simple 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter and I'll give you a quick overview of how the install goes so you can see how easy it is. But just know that if you decide on the gauge that's pre-installed in the vent, then some of these steps won't be necessary. The main dash panel will need to come off so you can get to the vent and the vent comes out easily by releasing some clips that are holding it on into place. You will need to disassemble the vent some, so you've got to pull the trim ring and the slot bracket so you can pop out that lower vent slat since that's where the gauge will sit. Then the gauge installs and you reassemble onto the vent bracket and into the vent barrel. There will be a little hole to feed the cable through the back of the vent. After that, it's just a matter of reinstalling everything back into the dash and feeding the gauge wire behind the dash through the OBD2 port. If you would like some of the other features like the analog inputs, the dimmer or an analog boost sensor connection there will be some other simple wiring in addition to the install, but nothing too serious. Wrapping things up here, this OBD2 Multigauge from Raxiom is a highly functional gauge that integrates into the interior seamlessly without having to add on anything onto the dash. It sits right in the first vent closest to the driver and it's a plug-and-play gauge that taps into the OBD2 port and that opens up a ton of information and stats about the car and how it's running. There's a ton going on with this gauge so as always I suggest you check it out more online for yourself right here at

Multi-Function Digital Vent Gauge. Are you looking for a way to observe several engine parameters without the need of installing multiple gauges? Then the Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multi-Gauge is your answer. The Multi-Gauge can monitor numerous parameters in one sleek digital gauge. Raxiom's Multi-Gauge installs into your dashes HVAC vent for a super clean integrated appearance. The Multi-Gauge will not obstruct airflow allowing your Mustangs heating and air conditioning to operate normally.

System Monitoring. Raxiom designed their OBD2 Multi-Gauge to monitor your Mustang's systems in real time. With the Raxiom Multi-Gauge you can monitor your coolant temperature, air intake temperature (AIT), ignition timing, battery voltage, throttle position, raw uncorrected speed, as well as exhaust gas temperature (EGT). The OBD2 Multi-Gauge you can also record and play back 15 seconds of data directly from your PCM. With record/play back and a peak recall feature, the Multi-Gauge is ideal for trouble shooting problems on the fly.

Boost / Vacuum Pressure. Not only does the Multi-Gauge monitor all of your Mustangs critical systems, but it also monitors your Boost and Vacuum Pressure as well. Using the live data pulled from the OBD-II diagnostic port the Multi-Gauge can accurately measure your Mustang's intake manifold pressure.

Reads/Clears Codes. The Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multi-Gauge works as a diagnostic code reader giving you the ability to read and clear your own trouble codes. Save yourself hundreds of dollars each year by reading and clearing your own codes rather than paying a dealer to do the same thing. It's as easy as a few simple steps.

Measure 0-60 Times. Another really cool feature of the Raxiom OBD2 Multi-Gauge is that it allows you to measure your 0 to 60 elapsed times. By keeping track of your 0-60 times you can see the difference your latest go fast mods have made.

Programmable Shift Light. Using live data from your Mustang's OBD-II diagnostic port the Raxiom Multi-Gauge monitors engine speed (RPM). By measuring the engine speed the Multi-Gauge can be custom programmed for use as a shift warning light for perfect precise shifts every time.

Auto or Manual Dimmer. Raxiom designed their Multi-Gauge so that it can be dimmed automatically in conjunction with your interior lights or manually with a push of a button. This is a really nice feature that further enhances its function and sleek appearance.

Recommended Software Upgrade. The Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multi-Gauge is already packed with cool features, but now you can add even more with Raxiom's Track Pack Software Upgrade. This software upgrade will allow you to monitor your Mustangs Air/Fuel ratio as well as capture acceleration and braking times. Sold separately, see option listed above.

Analog Sensor Upgrade. The Multi-Gauge can monitor your Mustangs Boost / Vacuum Pressure using the data from the OBD-II port which is accurate, but if you are running an aftermarket force induction setup you are going to want super accurate readings. That is why Raxiom offers an Analog Sensor Upgrade for their Multi-Gauge. This Analog Sensor Upgrade is ideal for heavily modified, supercharged and turbocharged Mustangs. Sold separately, see option listed above.

Application. The Raxiom Vent Integrated OBD2 Multi-Gauge without Housing is specially designed to fit all 2015 to 2020 Mustangs including V6, EcoBoost, GT and Shelby GT530 models. HVAC vent housing is

not included, reuses your existing factory vent.

Can I get a picture of the Shift Light function?

        • Not sure how to snapshot a picture of this, but the shift light function is just a flashing of the display. For example, from the stock picture, the blue bars and the white color readout just flashes rapidly when you reach the redline configured for it. Hope this helps explains what it does.

            Over priced

The gauge is nice appearance wise, but over priced for all it does. No instructions at all on setting up. I definitely wouldn’t suggest this gauge... better off buying a ngauge

            Looks sweet

Install took about 3 hours not just for the gauge but the boost sensor and 5 foot tubing as well. Looks sweet but it should considering the 3 piece Raxiom combo cost almost $500. I ran the tubing through a firewall graumet on the driver side, along the hood latch cable, up the front to my intercooler. You dont even notice it as it's with the hood latch cable. Getting it through the graumet and firewall was time consuming. Then after install, u have to program and calibrate the gauge. Took me 3-4 to calibrate before it accepted. The first two days it seemed to have a lag. The third day it all worked fine as it seemed as if it "learned" or had a calibrating phase. Looks awesome, just expensive.

            nice add-on, cool tool

Nice tool to have directly in dash mounted. don't know if any of you received instructions with it in the box but I did not and it would have been handy for the settings. On the Raxiom site there is about no informations on this gauge.

            Cool little gauge

Yes you can get almost all the info this gauge has right on your screen, it's just a nice little addition that adds some style. While losing half the vent, the vent still manages to work well. Every picture I see of them people have on the left vent, mostly they have the performance pack, I do not so the gauge was placed in the middle vent.

I had this professionally installed with analog boost sensor/boost vacuum tubing and installer and I were little confused on directions on how to work and configuring and there was no tech-support.After fighting through direction and configuring gauge and playing around with all the different readouts was disappointed readouts would freeze up then work and sometimes would start flashing for no parent reason.I called Am and told them the issue returning as disaffected product.Hey it did look really cool Lol...I hope for better luck for others the drop the 4 bills for this item.

            Subtle but powerful addition!

I love having this gauge. The unit turns on as you start the car, and turns off when you shut the car down. When the car is off, you can still enter the config menu by holding both buttons down When you start the car, it immediately defaults to the boost mode, where it shows the Boost in PSI and Vacuum in inHg. Not too useful since my stock PP gauges basically show the same thing. The next mode is your coolant temp, which supposedly gives a more accurate reading that your car's needle gauge. The air intake temp is next, which is also a factory feature, but it's easier to access from this gauge. The ignition timing follows after that, where it shows you the spark timing of your engine in real time. next is the exhaust gas temp as calculated by the ECU. After that, you get your throttle position, which shows the actual throttle plate position. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the next mode, the RPM readout. You can see your exact RPM, record and playback your shifts, and also program the gauge to flash after a specific RPM (default is 5700). The next mode is the speed readout, which is the actual raw, uncorrected roadspeed, so it may not match the speed on your speedometer. The next mode is also a fun one; a 0-60 timer with auto start/stop. let's just say I'm glad I'm the only person who has moved onto my block so far, so I have a nice stretch of empty road to play with. Lastly, you have the battery voltage meter, which is especially useful to me right now since I had left something on recently and my battery was completely dead. It's a fantastic gauge to have and gives you a ton of readouts and features to play around with. Nothing there is a must have, but if you like tech toys and are the type of person that needs to know exactly what their car is doing, this is a no brainer. I can see it being especially useful for those who track their cars.

Intagrated vents really cool looking after a professional installs them. The multi gauges are an added bonus. Overall happy with the product.
