Anti-drain Back Valve. Royal Purple filters feature a unique silicone anti-drain back valve that prevents dry starts by eliminating oil drain back during shutdown. Silicone outlasts and outperforms standard nitrile rubber in both extreme hot and cold oil.

Superior Construction. Royal Purple Filter housings have a much thicker shell wall for additional strength to provide security against a puncture from road debris.
