Description
99.9% Filtration Efficiency. Royal Purple Extended Life Oil Filters use a 100% synthetic micro-glass screen-backed media for superior particle removal with a 99.9% filtration efficiency at 25 microns all while not sacrificing flow.
Anti-drain Back Valve. Royal Purple filters feature a unique silicone anti-drain back valve that prevents dry starts by eliminating oil drain back during shutdown. Silicone outlasts and outperforms standard nitrile rubber in both extreme hot and cold oil.
Superior Construction. Royal Purple Filter housings have a much thicker shell wall for additional strength to provide security against a puncture from road debris. Along with a heavy duty rubber base gasket and steel back-plate to ensure against leaks, this oil filter endures a much higher burst strength than standard conventional filters.
Application. This Royal Purple Extended Life Oil Filter is specially designed for use on the 1996-2010 GT, 1996-2004 SVT Cobra, 2005-2010 V6 and the 2007-2014 Shelby GT500.
