Product Description. The SeaSucker Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap is an upgraded accessory designed to secure your bike’s rear wheel more firmly during transport. It replaces the standard VELCRO® strap with a ladder strap and buckle system, providing a more solid and reliable connection. This upgrade enhances the overall security of your bike when mounted on various carriers, ensuring peace of mind on your travels.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a 25-inch aluminum front wheel mount attached to a durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body, the design offers excellent strength and resilience. The materials are selected for both durability and lightweight performance, finished in a practical and functional style suitable for outdoor use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring only the removal of the existing housing by unscrewing four corner screws, then positioning the new housing and securing it firmly. No drilling is necessary, making the upgrade convenient and user-friendly.
Application. Fits universally with most standard bike wheels up to 29 inches, compatible with road, cross, and mountain bike wheels requiring MTB or road plugs for certain through-axles; however, it does not fit boost hubs (15x110mm). Some adaptation may be required depending on the specific bike setup.
