Description
A Well-Designed Clutch Kit. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is carefully designed to replicate the clutch experience delivered by your stock O.E. clutch. However, it is also much stronger and more durable, and is built for a variety of applications for your 1996-1998 Cobra.
High-Quality Materials and Construction. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch includes a heavy-duty pressure plate with an increased clamp load that does not affect pedal pressure. Additionally, the kit is made from durable and reinforced materials to deliver optimum maneuverability and ease of use.
Professional Installation Recommended. It is highly recommended that the South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch be installed by someone with technical expertise and experience. A 500-mile break-in period is an absolute must for all new clutches.
With Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. South Bend Clutch warranties that this Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch is free from defects in workmanship and material for 12 months or 12,000 miles. The warranty is subject to certain terms and conditions that can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
Application. The South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Heavy Duty Clutch was designed for use on all 1996-1998 Ford Mustang Cobra models. Note that new clutches require a new or resurfaced flywheel.
