            Sharp grab but not too rough

            I highly highly recommend getting the SPEC flywheel with this, do not go with different flywheel or you will get chatter. I tried hooking this up with a different one and made too much noise, with the SPEC flywheel, no chatter

            Spec stage 2 clutch

            Finally installed the new clutch and honestly the difference compared to the stock clutch is way better clutch is more lighter and it just grab each gear instantly it feels amazing

            Get the Spec flywheel too!

            I like to save money, but with my five-speed Mustang, the clutch cannot be compromised! I bought this Stage2 clutch and Spec flywheel in 2009, and they are still shifting with me! I recently had to get a new throwout bearing, but the flywheel and clutch are still fine. I upgraded my cable and got a metal quadrant too. It shifts easily (like butter), and I have had ZERO problems with the grab! It has never slipped once, and takes my 6-banger for a whirl, whenever I need to take off fast!

            Get Ready

            The product is great. It comes with everything you need to get the job done. I will say the installation is a bit tricky though. Unless you have a really really clean under body and you know what your doing, I would most definitely take it to a shop to get it installed properly, its worth it.

            Exactly what I needed

            I was pushing more horsepower and needed more than a stock clutch. My car was able to grab better and would actually even bark the tires going into 3rd with this clutch. Fit was great, easy install with everything I needed.

            Not very impressed with this clutch!

            Replaced my spec stage 1 with this stage 2 about a year ago on my 2004 v6 and I haven't been very impressed with this clutch. It makes quite a bit of chatter and doesn't seem to be as good as the stage 1 I had. I just ordered a Ram HDX to replace it with. American Muscle is awesome to deal with but I have determined that there are better clutch options than spec.

            HELL TO THE NO!!!

            only had the clutch for 1 week and it blowout. forget this lost 334.99... but is still the sh*t love you guys not spec!!!!!!!!!

            I checked before ordering this clutch w alum flywheel cause I have a procharger on my V6 w/350hp at wheels and was told it would handle mine. Now with 238 miles and absolutely no burns or hard driving its chirping on take off. My dyno guy told me not to use this brand he had warranty trouble with another customer using this.

            oh hell no

            i have one ofthese right now. 15k miles of moderate driving and it is done. i only have 276 rwhp and it won't hold at all

            I bought my mustang recently and i think I downgraded from a stage 3. The springs were massive on the old one! BUT even with smaller springs, this one requires barely less torque from the left leg. I don't cramp up in traffic anymore AND it performs like a racing clutch. Perfect 'ride quality' upgrade!

            My stock clutch was squeeking and shimmying the pedal when I hit the brake, jerking into shifts...horrible. This clutch makes me feel like it did when it was new....very relaxed and effortless shifting. Love city driving again!
