Justin: If you're looking for a relatively easy and inexpensive way to add a bit more detailed to an otherwise dull area of your car's interior, you'll definitely want to check out the SpeedForm Carbon Fiber Style Dash Panel here available for all 2015 and newer Mustangs. Now, this kit is going to feature a hydro dipped ABS plastic trim piece with that carbon fiber appearance off of right around 50 bucks. Installation, gang, is going to be a simple peel and stick job, thanks to the preinstalled 3M tape. So, therefore, figure a very soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here and no more than a few minutes of your time to get this in place from start to finish. So, again, this is going to be a great bang for your buck modification to help freshen up the interior a little bit of that S550 at home. And in my opinion, works great as a standalone piece, but even better as a complement to other carbon fiber goodies you may have already added around the interior. Now, if you haven't already added some other accents but would like to see more of them in your interior, well, you are certainly in the right place as we have a ton of different options to choose from here on the site, including everything from legit carbon fiber accents for those guys out there with bigger budgets, all the way down the line to vinyl accents, for those looking to change things up, but keep to a tighter budget. Now, the piece we have here today, I would say is going to land somewhere in the middle of those two. It's not real carbon fiber, of course, but instead ABS plastic that has gone through a process known as hydro dipping into a carbon fiber-like graphic. And that's going to give it the very realistic carbon look. But the big thing to point out here, guys, is that you're not paying that big carbon fiber price tag instead fraction of the price of the real deal stuff. Now, the piece that we have here again is going to fill the void perfectly in the upper dash area on the passenger side. And we'll also feature that little cutout there that's going to perfectly frame the dash emblem in your ride. In fact, if you did want to check out some of the customers' submitted images here on the product page, you'll see owners who have chosen just to install this piece by itself and others who have paired it up with some of the other carbon goodies that we mentioned earlier. And you can kind of get a feel for what you might like for the interior of your own ride. But getting back to the dash piece that we have here. And again, you'll notice once everything's been installed, just how well the fitment and design is of the SpeedForm piece and the quality of fitment around the badge itself is certainly worth noting. Now, this is an overlay, meaning you're not going to have to uninstall the dash or anything like that, instead, you're just going to simply clean the area first using alcohol prep pad or something similar, remove the backing on the preinstalled 3M tape on the back, and then simply adhere it to your dash. But if you're still not quite sure of how this is all going to go down, feel free to check out our detailed walkthrough right now.Man: The tools used for this install are a microfiber cloth, interior cleaner, and a razor knife. So, today, we're going to be installing the SpeedForm Carbon Fiber Style Passenger Side Dash Trim. So, let's get started. So, this trim piece is going to get installed right above the glove box on the passenger side, where the Mustang logo is up here. I'm going to get started by using a little bit of cleaning product into a microfiber cloth and making sure that the surface is nice and clean so that my 3M tape adheres properly. You want to make sure that you use a cleaning product that doesn't leave any kind of residues that will make the 3M not stick. So, what I'm going to do is use the tip of a razor blade to get started with the 3M. And I'm just going to peel back the corners so that I can get everything lined up properly, and then I'll peel the rest of it off once I have it pretty much positioned in place. And for these little pieces, I'll just peel them off all the way. Now that I've got the corners peeled back, I can get my trim piece lined up onto my dashboard, make sure I have the little tabs hanging out so that I can peel them off. And once I'm happy with the positioning, I can apply a little bit of pressure and peel my tape. And that's going to wrap up this review and install of the SpeedForm Carbon Fiber Style Passenger Dash Trim. Thanks for watching and for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
