It replaces the stock intake manifold with increased plenum volume to improve engine breathing, essential for demanding applications such as supercharged or turbocharged setups. This intake manifold ensures reliable performance under increased boost pressures and aggressive driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable aluminum with a black finish, this manifold combines strength with an appealing look. The throttle body adapter is made of natural aluminum, offering a solid and precise mounting surface. It is built to withstand backfires and harsh conditions typical of forced induction systems, providing a more robust alternative to plastic manifolds.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling as it is designed to be a direct replacement for the factory intake manifold. It converts the 3-bolt intake configuration to a 4-bolt throttle body, and includes all necessary gaskets and bolts to facilitate a smooth upgrade.
