2008 GT500 Upgrade
Lowered stance 1 inch, resulting in great look, and improved handling performance. Ride is stiffer, expected with linear coil springs. Looking forward to driving the Tail-of-the-Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles) again this year.Helpful (0)

Stiff BUT it handles a lot better now
The ride is extremely stiff and you can feel everything on the road BUT with an adjustable panhard bar you can feel the difference in handling and the reduced body roll, if you want to get rid of the ugly gap on the rear wheels but you dont want to lower your car too much this is the product for you, I made the mistake of putting on my daily and now I'll need a new daily or new springs hahahaha don't put this on your daily unless you like feeling every minor detail on the roadHelpful (0)

Decided to replace and rebuild stock suspension and keep my 2010 GT rather than sell it and start over. Parts look great and packaged well. Can't wait to get them installed once I get the brake stuff purchased and do it all at one time.Helpful (0)

Installed Pedders spring and shock kit on 2008 Bullitt. Easy install. Love the red. Lowered the car about an inch... just enough. Stance looks perfect, not too low. The ride is very much stiffer than the original set up. Ride is a lot rougher than before, but the handling is much better. I would say an even trade off. Not great but not bad
I agree with other reviews. These shock kits are very bumpy than the stock ones. If you get these sets make sure you get adjustable panbar as well to center the rear axle. I don't recommend Pedders SportRyder for daily driver. Way too bumpy! Lower 1" and make sharp turn much more better than stock. These shock kits seem to be held up well. I don't like bumpy ride, so I am looking for another shock kits. and willing pay a little to get a better shock kits.Helpful (0)

Great kit for the money
Just had this kit installed on a 2011 GT convertible. Front swap took around 45 mins, but the rear a little longer. Being a convertible, the rear bracing needed to be removed to lower the axle far enough to get the old spring out. Otherwise, this whole job would have taken just 2 hours at a professional shop. With the extra steps to remove the bracing, it took right around 2.5 hours. The rear end feels bumpier than the front due to the linear springs vs progressive on front. The look is worth the bumpier ride, which was to be expected anyway. Lowered the car 1”. Would def buy this kit again for the money!Helpful (2)

Is a panhard bar required to keep suspension in spec?
This kit offers a 1 inch drop all around. Generally whenever lowering your vehicle, we do recommend a panhard bar to keep the rear axle aligned.
Does this kit lower the car at all? If so, how much?
Great question! This kit will offer about 1 inch all around, front and rear.
Do the springs have a constant or progressive rate of stiffness?
The springs included in this kit are constant, or linear rate springs.
I’ve purchased previously a “non adjustable” BMR pan-hard bar in the passed. Wondering if this 1” drop suspension kit NEEDS an adjustable bar. Don’t know if 1” drop throws off rear end geometry enough to strain suspension components life span.
With a 1 inch drop, you can go with either a non-adjustable or an adjustable panhard bar. The latter is not required. It really comes down to if you want to be able to fine tune your suspension or not.
Can I still use my my strut tower brace and my strut tower covers?
The Pedders SportsRyder EziFit Spring & Shock Kit can be used with most factory and aftermarket Strut tower brace and covers.
The Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates will work with this kit.
