Hey, guys. Adam here with American Muscle. And today, I'm taking a closer look at the SR Performance O2 Wire Harness Extension Kit, available for the 2015 to 2017 GT and V6 Mustang. Now you should be checking these out, very simply, if you're looking to modify your exhaust and it's relocating your O2 sensors to a point where your factory wiring harness isn't long enough to reach the new position. And anytime you do modify your exhaust, something like long tube headers, you may be repositioning the O2s and your factory harness just isn't gonna cut it.The O2 sensor harness extension kit from SR Performance adds about 18 more inches to that harness in order to extend to your new upstream or front O2 sensor position. Now that's really it, it's as simple as that, this is gonna be a factory connector that just extends the length of that to make sure you can stay street legal, make sure that check engine light isn't on, make sure you're not risking running a little bit leaner, a little bit rich due to a faulty O2. You want to make sure you're plugging them in and keeping that consistency just like it was from the factory even if you're repositioning them with a new exhaust system. Now that can be because of a number of different things, like I said, a new set of long tubes or shorty headers or something like that can be the difference between making it with your factory harness and not in which case, this is a good way to go. It's made with factory connectors, so it's gonna be just a simple plug and play. One end will plug into your factory harness, the other end will go right into the O2 itself. No splicing, no cutting, no nonsense, it's as simple as that. Now when it comes to any slack being left behind, it is a really good size that you shouldn't need to but if you do, you can always just zip tie it back into position or add a wiring harness connector just to make sure it's popped up and not hanging down. Shouldn't be the case though. It is a really, really convenient size here. With that said, it's about 45 bucks and you get two for one for each side. And the install gets one out of three wrenches on our difficult meter because of no splicing or cutting or any of that nonsense, you can just plug it in. It'll take you about 10 minutes, maybe that from start to finish, assuming you already have your vehicle in the air, you're doing the modifications through your exhaust, so you're right there anyway, just simple enough to plug in. With that being said, guys, if you're looking to pick up something to make sure you can still plug your O2s in because your new exhaust system just relocates it, this is gonna work for the upstream or your front O2 sensors on your '15 to '17 GT or V6 Mustang.
