Description
Performance Brake Upgrade. The SSBC-USA 4-Wheel Disc Brake Conversion Kit with 5-Lug Axles and Dimpled/Slotted Rotors is designed to replace rear drum brakes with modern disc brakes on the rear wheels. This kit improves stopping power, brake pedal feel, and safety by converting the rear 8.8" differential from drum to disc brakes for enhanced vehicle control. The kit includes calipers, rotors, and hardware primarily focused on the rear brake upgrade.
Construction and Appearance. The rear calipers are zinc plated for corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. The rotors are dimpled and slotted, zinc coated to resist rust, and measure 10.5" with a 5-lug pattern suitable for front and rear positions. Mounting brackets are e-coated, and all necessary hardware for installation is included for a clean finished look without modifications.
Installation. Installation is designed for straightforward bolt-on compatibility without drilling or fabrication. The kit comes complete with all necessary components and hardware for a professional quality rear brake upgrade.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 87-92 Mustang.
