Description
High-Performance Handling. ST Suspension SportTech Lowering Springs give your Ford Mustang’s a slight drop in its center of gravity. This results in better handling in corners, as well as in improvements in grip and turn-in response. These springs also help reduce body roll in the corners and limit the weight transfer when you step on the gas. What’s more, ST Suspension springs are also custom-coiled to ensure optimum performance, in addition to undergoing strict testing and inspection for durability.
Sporty Muscle Car Stance. These suspension springs lower your car by about 1.2 inches at the front and rear. This gives your Ford Mustang a balanced stance, resulting in better driving dynamics and better overall appearance.
Heavy-Duty, Durable Construction. ST Suspension springs are made from high-tensile chrome silicon steel, a highly durable and sturdy material that can handle heavy shock loads. To further enhance durability, chrome silicon steel is cold-drawn and then heat-treated before the actual fabrication process of the springs. A powder coat is then applied for corrosion resistance and added toughness, before the steel is custom-wound to ensure the perfect response from your Ford Mustang.
Progressive Spring Design. The ST Suspension SportTech Lowering Springs have a progressive spring design. Also called variable rate springs, progressive springs have a softer starting spring rate which gradually gets stiffer when force is applied. This means you’ll have a smooth, comfortable daily driving experience as well as superior handling and roll control during high-performance conditions, such as when you drive on uneven terrain.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels and Tires. These springs are designed to be compatible with both stock and aftermarket wheels and tires so you will have no problems with clearance and rubbing. You can also use these lowering springs with Ford Mustang wheel-and-tire kits you purchased from AmericanMuscle.
Professional Installation Recommended. AmericanMuscle strongly recommends that you get professional help to have these lowering springs installed. These professionals would have the proper tools and knowledge to avoid damaging your car in the process. AmericanMuscle also recommends that you have your car aligned after installation.
