      • 1979-93 Ford Mustang Foxbody Long Tube Headers with your choice of 1-7/8" or 2" primaries and 3.5" merge collectors with high-flow catalytic converters.
      • Designed for use with cylinder heads featuring a 2-o’clock, 8-o’clock bolt pattern.
      • Compatible with TH400 automatic transmissions and designed to work with UPR or AJE K-members and transmission crossmembers.
      • Headers fit the following heads for the 9.5" tall deck: Edelbrock Victor Jr, AFR 165/185, Trickflow, Twisted Wedge, SVO/GT40, Brodix St., Dart 170/195.
      • Does not fit with QA1 K-member.
      • Fits 1979-93 5.0L Mustang equipped with Twisted Wedge race heads.

      Description

      Performance Exhaust Upgrade. The Stainless Works 2-inch long tube headers improve exhaust flow for Foxbody Mustangs, increasing horsepower and torque by reducing backpressure and optimizing engine breathing. Engineered specifically for race and competition use, these headers provide maximum performance gains.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from high-quality stainless steel, these headers feature precise mandrel bends for smooth airflow and enhanced durability. The polished finish resists corrosion and maintains a high-quality appearance even under high heat and heavy use.

      Installation. Professional installation is recommended due to the complexity and the necessity of exact fitment with specific K-members and transmissions. No drilling is required when installed with compatible components, allowing for a relatively straightforward installation by experienced mechanics.

      Application. These headers are designed exclusively for 1979-1993 5.0L Mustangs equipped with Twisted Wedge race heads. They are incompatible with models using the QA1 K-member, ensuring precise fitment with select aftermarket suspension setups.
