Heat and Noise Control. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, 24-Inch x 50-Foot, provides an effective barrier against excessive heat and noise entering the vehicle's driver compartment and surrounding areas. Designed to enhance driver comfort and vehicle performance, it can be applied to firewalls, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings.

This mat features resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation sandwiched between a reflective Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The reflective FSK acts as a vapor and radiant barrier, while the foil side efficiently dissipates heat. The material surface exhibits a metallic texture consistent with the foil facings.
