Advanced Turbo Oil Regulation. The Turbosmart ProOPR Rising Rate Turbo Oil Pressure Regulator; Twin Outlet precisely controls oil pressure supplied to turbochargers by adjusting output based on boost pressure. This system ensures proper lubrication at both low and high boost settings, preventing oil flooding at low shaft speeds while increasing oil pressure to protect the turbo during high RPM and high horsepower operation. It is engineered specifically for large turbochargers and motorsport applications requiring reliable high-boost performance.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from high-grade 6262 T6 aluminium with an anodised finish for durability and corrosion resistance, the regulator features a compact billet aluminium body housing precision valves. Its inline, returnless design uses boost pressure differential and includes threaded NPT ports for easy connection of oil supply lines and boost reference. A removable stainless steel oil filter ensures protection against contamination.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, utilizing existing oil supply lines and a boost reference taken directly from the compressor cover or charge pipe. The twin outlet configuration simplifies plumbing for setups involving one or two turbochargers.
_x000D_Application. This regulator is suitable for universal use where large frame turbochargers and high boost levels are present, common in Pro-Mod and other high-boost motorsport environments. Some adaptation may be necessary to integrate with specific vehicle setups.
