Description
Performance External Wastegate. The Turbosmart GenV ProGate50 External Wastegate; 14 PSI is engineered to provide precise boost control for turbocharged engines by regulating exhaust gas flow to the turbocharger turbine. This wastegate delivers optimal performance and longevity through superior flow and advanced thermal management, tailored for demanding motorsport and high-performance applications.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high-temperature 347 stainless steel for the body and equipped with a Nitronic 60 valve guide, this wastegate offers robust corrosion resistance and durability. It features a black finish, 17-7 PH stainless steel springs, a stainless steel SS316 valve seat, and durable strap-type V-band clamps, enhancing both its reliability and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct-fit upgrade design that maintains previous generation mounting orientations, eliminating the need for drilling or complex modifications. This facilitates easy integration on compatible exhaust systems.
Application. This wastegate is designed for universal applications; however, some adaptation may be required. It is intended for turbocharged systems that need an external wastegate and may necessitate custom or modified exhaust manifolds for proper installation.
