      Description

      Enhanced Rear Suspension. The UMI Performance Upper Control Arm Reinforcements are designed to strengthen the weak rear upper control arm mounting points on Ford Mustangs, especially under racing or aggressive driving conditions. These reinforcements help prevent cracks and damage caused by the stresses of high torque and aftermarket components, ensuring a more durable and reliable suspension setup.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 3/16" mild steel using precision laser-cut components, these reinforcements provide superior strength and exact fit. The bare metal finish allows for welding installation and requires painting after mounting to protect against corrosion and maintain quality appearance.

      Installation. Installation typically takes about 2½ hours and requires drilling. The kit includes grade 8 hardware and can be either welded or bolted in place, making it a versatile reinforcement option for various build preferences.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979-2004 Ford Mustang models, these reinforcements address known weaknesses in rear upper control arm mounting points when using aftermarket control arms and bushings.
