It's the little things that matter

Any of you that are working to restore your Mustang know it's the little things that matter, right? Take this weatherstrip retaining channel seal for example. Doesn't make you go faster, heck you don't really even see it. But when you're old stuff is completely rotting and falling apart, it's something you want to replace. This goes between the windshield side rail and the metal retainer under the A-Pillar weatherstripping and also between the convertible top and the metal retainer under the left and right side convertible top-side rail weatherstripping. The pic I posted shows the seal on the passenger side top-side rail. Note, there's 3 screws that hold the metal retainer in place. Be careful not to tear the weatherstripping. I'd recommend replacing the channel seal and the weatherstripping at the same time if your working on restoring your convertible weatherstripping!
