Performance Handling. Installing a set of Vogtland Progressive Rate Springs will lower your S197 V6 Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Vogtland Sport Springs are ideal for daily driving, street, and even occasional track use.

Lowered Muscle Car Stance. Not only does a set of Vogtland Sport Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve its overall appearance. By lowering the ride height approximately 1.2" in the front and rear, that huge tire to fender gap is eliminated, providing your Mustang with a classic muscular stance.

Superior Construction. Vogtland Lower Springs are made to strict standards in Germany. Using a cold coiling process these Springs are manufactured from special oil tempered, high tensile strength spring steels, including chromesilicon (CrSi) and chrome-silicon-vanadium (CrSiV) alloys. After being coiled, all springs are tempered, shot peened and preset to ensure consistent ride height and quality. In the last step of the manufacturing process the springs are phosphate and powder coated for superior long lasting corrosion resistance.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Vogtland Sport Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on 2005 to 2014 V6 Mustangs including both coupe and convertible models.

Would i need new shocks and struts for these springs on my 2014 v6 mustang?

    • New shocks and struts are not required however I do recommend them when you are putting them on your 2014 V6 Mustang because the stock shocks and struts were not designed for these springs.

      Only way to go

If you're looking into lowering springs, look no further. (Assuming you're not looking for a really aggressive drop.) Vogland has been engineering springs since the horse and carriage days and this set exemplifies their experience and knowledge. Im not gonna say "day and night", but it's pretty darn close for a part that costs a mere $250. My Stang is launching wayyy better, breaking better, and overall handling better. Also, my car is a manual trans, and shifting through corners was always a little bit off. (If that makes any sense.) These springs seem to have fixed that issue, and shifts are much smoother through corners. Dont know if it has to do with weight distribution or what but I'm certainly not complaining! Awesome product!

      Happy with my purchase.

Used car manager at a Ford store in Charlotte, very please. The look of the car alone the is worth the price, the handling you won't feel until you push it, then you feel the grip.

      More roll no bounce

Compared to my old set up the Vogtland sport springs matched with a set of koni str dampeners makes the Stang look like it's supposed too and rides like it too. The feed back in the steering wheel has improved. I'm so glad I took the advice of the Mustang experts at AM they definitely know what they're talking about. Thanks American muscle

      Vogland Install

Other than having to remove all but the front four bolts on the convertible sub braces ( just loosened them ) the install was not that bad . Start to finish around 2 Hrs .

      Great Set of Springs

Loved the stance of my car after I finished installing these. Low enough to give your car an aggressive stance, but still high enough to get over any annoying speed bumps and up hills without the worry of scraping your front end. Paired these springs with the Koni Orange shocks and struts and the handling is amazing. My car corners very well and cruising is very smooth. Over all, a great product, Id buy them all over again in a heartbeat!

Not too hard, not too soft....

I first tried Vogtland springs a few years ago. I got this set for my daughter's 05 V6. I'm a career mechanic, yet baffled! I'd never heard of Vogtland before. Spring shopping was tedious, because most companies DON'T release their spring rates (some kind of proprietary secret!) American Muscle was at least able to post the drop, and fellow customers posted pics, so I could at least see how they look... At least on the GT sets! :P The price was good on these. And the comments and pictures looked good. I took a leap, and got them. (And new spring isolators)... GLAD I did!! AFTER the springs settled, it ended up about a 1.1" drop in front, and a 1.3" drop in the rear. It was nice, because the back of S-197's sit WAY too high in back anyway. She likes it! (BIG plus!) I took it out a few times, and LOVED the ride! Nowhere near my track car - but a lot firmer than stock. Less brake dive and much quicker off-center turn in! I may have to get a set for MY DD!! :) ~ Carmine
