Performance Handling. Installing a set of Vogtland Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Shelby GT500 Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Vogtland Sport Springs are ideal for daily driving, street, and even occasional track use.

Lowered Muscle Car Stance. Not only does a set of Vogtland Sport Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve its overall appearance. By lowering the ride height approximately 1.2" in the front and rear, that huge tire to fender gap is eliminated, providing your Mustang with a classic muscular stance.

Superior Construction. Vogtland Lower Springs are made to strict standards in Germany. Using a cold coiling process these Springs are manufactured from special oil tempered, high tensile strength spring steels, including chromesilicon (CrSi) and chrome-silicon-vanadium (CrSiV) alloys. After being coiled, all springs are tempered, shot peened and preset to ensure consistent ride height and quality. In the last step of the manufacturing process the springs are phosphate and powder coated for superior long lasting corrosion resistance.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Vogtland Sport Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on 2005 to 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs including both coupe and convertible models.

      Stiff but same height

These powder coated purple springs are really beautiful and my Shelby corners much better now. However, it has not been long enough for them to settle in so there might be some lowering in the next couple weeks but 3 days in and my Shelby is exactly the same height and wheel gap as before. I was looking forward to the 1.2 inch drop but have not seen it yet. Hopefully, the springs will settle in and that will happen. I needed to replace the panhard bar but am waiting for springs to settle before I get an alignment done and have the wheel pitch checked. As long as it's only a couple degrees negative I will not replace the cambers. A couple degrees negative is actually better in corners. If the alignment shows it's way off then I will end up getting the adjustable camber plates.
