Description
Cooler, More Dense Charges. The Vortech Air-to-Water Charge Cooler Upgrade Kit - Polished - utilizes a closed-loop water circulation system with a front-mounted heat exchanger that allows for safe and effective street operation. The upgrade kit gives your Mustang cooler, denser air charges with a discharge temperature decrease of approximately 100 degrees F at 10 PSIG.
Durable Construction. Each upgrade kit features Vortech's exclusive dual pass, high-flow, air-to-water-to-air cooler unit that's built using high-grade aluminum and a heat exchanger that uses a low-restriction plate/fin design. The cooling unit features a 1/2" inlet/outlet size. The high-strength polymer water reservoir features an easy-to-fill design that uses water, ice, or a combination of the two. A remote mount electric water pump is included.
Additional Parts Required. The upgrade kit requires a separate Battery Relocation Kit, (part #8N150-010) for proper installation.
Installation. A moderate level of mechanical ability is required to properly install this upgrade kit. Complete instructions and all of the necessary hardware is included.
3-Year Limited Warranty. Vortech Engineering offers a 3-year limited warranty on all of their non-racing systems. See manufacturer's website for details.
