    Description

    Lightweight & Strong. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit - Satin will take your Cobra to new heights in terms of power and overall performance. This complete system is crafted from flow-tested cast aluminum with OEM-style, heat-treated cast 356 aluminum mounting brackets. The inlet and discharge duct connections also utilize heat resistant silicon sleeves. The lightweight aluminum impellers have been high-speed balanced to ensure a smoother operation you can feel. Vortech's "Super Quiet" technology delivers near-silent functionality with reliability that is hard to beat. This version features a sleek satin finish for a more sophisticated look.

    Increased Power. The included oil feed and oil drain assembly work together to provide the best possible lubrication and cooling for this supercharger unit, especially when facing sustained boost conditions. With an average of 8 lbs. of boost, this system will safely increase your Mustang's factory horsepower from 305 to 442, and the torque from 285 ft/lbs. to 390 ft/lbs. Those are gains of more than 137 horses.

    Complex Installation. Installation for a supercharger kit can be fairly difficult, especially since it requires relocating a number of parts. Vortech's supercharger comes with everything necessary for the install, from mounting brackets to replacement wiring. Even so, it is recommended that you have a professional mechanic carry out the install. It can take about a full day to complete.
