How to Install White Madness Go-Baby-Go Automatic Shifter Conversion Kit - Chrome Shaft w/ Oxford White Ball (15-17 GT, EcoBoost, V6) on your Ford Mustang

1. Set the parking brake to ensure yourself from an accedent.

2. Keep your foot on the brake pedal engaged during the whole installation process.

3. Turn ON the ignition, put the shifter to D or S possition.

4. Turn the ignition OFF.

5. Remove the plastic piece in front of the shifter case

6. Grab the chrome plastic cover from a front side and pull it up. Pull hard but try to control the movement because it has a socket connected

7. Disconnect the socket.

8. Pull the cover all the way up.

9. The shifter connected to the shaft with two screws. Grab the screw driver and take them out ( we took out one for an example). S ave screws for future and try to not drop them down.

10. Pull the shifter together with the boot up from the shaft.

11. Take the plastic part from your kit and slide it inside the boot. Make sure holes faced to the front of the chrome plastic cover.

12. The boot has two really sharp edges which can damage the ball's clear coat during the installation so it will be much safer to cover them with the paper towel, piece of cloth or several layers of a masking tape.

13. Take your new shifter and slide inside the boot. Make sure holes on the shaft in the same direction as holes on the plastic insert and faced to the front of the plastic cover.

14. Take one original screw or screw supplied with the kit.

15. Slide the shifter with a boot a little bit on the shaft, put the screw into the lowest hole and try to catch the bottom hole on the shaft.

16. Tighten the screw.

17. Take the second screw and put it in.

18. Put back the plastic boot cover.

19. Connect the socket to the boot.

20. Put the boot all the way in. Straighten the leather if needed.

21. Put the shifter to the P (Parking) position.

22. Turn the engine ON. Don't release the brake pedal try to shift to each gear back and front several times. Make sure everything is working properly.

2. Please don’t try to disassemble the shifter. Don’t remove the plastic covers below the ball it can cause the damage to the ball paint. WM Garage doesn’t cover with the warranty shifter which was took apart.

3. During the regular usage painted balls with a clear coat, chrome surface balls can have signs of regular wear. White Madness Garage doesn’t cover damages caused by the regular wear.
