Improves Traction. If your 1979-2004 Pony isn't hooking up, there's no question - you're going nowhere fast. So replace those weak stamped steel stock control arms with a set of Whiteline Performance Fixed Tubular Rear Lower Control Arms to instantly improve traction and to eliminate excessive wheel hop.

Superior Construction. Made from heavy duty tubular DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, these Whiteline Performance Rear Lower Control Arms feature Synthetic Dual-Durometer Elastomer MAX-C Bushings with a multi-axial composite design and have been completed in a durable silver powder coated finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.

MAX-C Bushings. The Dual-Durometer MAX-C Bushing compound found in these Rear LCAs help dampen NVH, the reinforcement sleeve inside redistributes load to prevent binding or gapping and the PTFE liner serves as a lubricating agent for a grease-free, silent operation.

Application. This set of two Whiteline Performance Non-Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 1979 to 2004 Mustangs equipped with a solid rear axle, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994-1998 SVT Cobra models. Not intended for use on 1999-2004 SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS).

Felt a difference right away!!

Stiffened up the rear right away! Installed springs at the same time only took 3 hours with a friends help. The stock sway bar is a tight fit but it will. Great product!!

Ask a Question

Do you have to press the sleeves into the bushings?

Mach1man2004

  • When installing the Whiteline Non-Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms the sleeves would slide inside of the bushings to isolate the bolts from the bushings. these should press in easily with the use of a little grease and pressure.

OK so I never write reviews but this is a must. American Muscle got me the correct parts right on time - kudos to them. However Whiteline did not deliver a quality product. First off, the box comes with no instructions, part lists, nothing. There are a second set of steel bushing in the box, that as it turns out need to be installed if you have a SN95 or New Edge. The welds on the bars were completely inconsistent - one side had big fat welds around the entire sway bar brace the other only each side had a small weld. The arms each had a number on them, looking like they should be sided, I called Whiteline for input as to which should be installed on each side - it was at this point that I had Napoleon Dynamite answer the call. He was complete useless - I swear I could hear him exhale like Napoleon when I asked if they were supposed to be sided. He took 20 minutes to finally come back and say - I dont know are they offset or centered? Its your product - how do you not know how they should be installed!! Finally I just picked a side and installed them - it was at this point that I had my final quality control issue. One of the 2 sway bar tabs had incorrect spacing meaning that I had to drill it out to get it to fit. It was off by 1/4 inch! If not for already having the car torn apart I would have returned this trash - but for now they are on the car - we will see how they last. There are tons of parts for Mustangs made by many companies - do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Whiteline and Napoleon!

    Priced well

I needed better rear control arms and these surprisingly worked out well. I took a chance and they turned out to beet good quality. Rear end is tight and predictable.

    Whiteline control arm

After removing the quad shocks the original lower control arms werent holding up. The whiteline lca were easy to install and perform great. Only down side is the bushings transfer more road noise compared to the rubber bushings.

    Look good

They look good. Seem to be built solid but I cant get my original LCA's off so I have no idea how they perform. I will update when I finally install them.
