Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com and this is my complete breakdown of Whiteline's Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms. As well as, a few different lower control options that will help you and your 2005 to 2014 Mustang. For those of you that do not know, Whiteline has a worldwide reputation as a leading manufacturer of suspension components that provide innovative solutions to suspension and handling constraints. Whiteline's products are known to deliver proven performance and provide significant gains in vehicle balance, steering precision, and grip level. Taking a look at some of the main suspension components we have here today, we all know that the upper control arm is very important when it comes to traction and handling performance. And also when it comes to being able to adjust your instant center and pinion angle, especially for those of you out there with lowered Mustang's and one piece drive shafts. Whiteline offers this adjustable rear upper control arm with the mount that will provide improved traction, allow for faster launches, and eliminate that dreaded wheel hop through a longer-than-factory arm length. This upper control arm is adjustable through this crush tube which is what's going to allow you to change your pinion angle and instant center adjustment, all without weakening the arm. This feature is what's going to allow you to dial in your Mustang's optimum settings for the best performance possible. And lastly, the adjustable upper control arm features a synthetic elastomer bushing that adds increased stability to the rear but without the harshness that we would normally see with the commonly used bearing designs. Whiteline currently offers three different types of rear lower control arms that will ultimately work with the upper control arms to offer even better performance. Two of these options, the fixed lower control arms and the standard adjustable control arms, are made from steel tubing for strength and stability, and feature synthetic Dual-Durometer Elastomer Max-C bushings with a multi axial composite design. As far as the Max-C bushings, the Dual-Durometer compound of the lower control arms helps dampen NVH. The reinforcement sleeve inside redistributes load to prevent binding or gapping and the PTFE Liner serves as a lubricating agent for a grease-free, silent operation. The fixed lower control arms feature forged ends, while the single adjustable lowers offer an on-car singular pinch-fold adjustment so you can dial in your settings as with the adjustable upper control arms. Our third option from Whiteline here are the Double-Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms. These are made from tubular chromoly steel and have a non-bonded bushing design with a synthetic elastomer bushing that will allow the crush tubes to float freely. This eliminates bushing wind and snap-back, leaving you with increased handling predictability. As the name implies, the only other difference here is the dual on-car adjust-ability. Your choice here with the lower control arms, really depends on your current or planned setup and what you want to do with your Mustang. Either way, Whiteline has you covered. All of these options are relatively easy to install and if you look at them individually, you're looking at about an hour for the install with a bit more time needed for fine-tuning the adjustable options. And, of course, make sure you have your jack and jack stands ready. As always, be sure to reach out to a Mustang expert by phone or email if you have any questions regarding which option would be best for your build or even if you just have an install question. So if you want to improve your traction off the line, reduce wheel hop, and have the ability to adjust pinion angle, then you have to check out these options from Whiteline. Improves Traction. If your 2005-2014 Pony can't hook up, there's no question - you're going nowhere fast. That's why Whiteline Performance designed these silver powdercoated Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms that will instantly improve traction and help to eliminate wheel hop. The rubber bushings found in the stock control arms are squishy and too soft for a high performance Mustang and should be replaced to enhance your driving experience.

Single Adjustment. Unlike other aftermarket control arms, these Whiteline Performance LCAs feature on-car, singular pinch bolt adjustment so you can precisely dial in your settings, ensuring you stay straight down the track every time.

Superior Construction. Made from tubular DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, these Whiteline Performance Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms feature Synthetic Dual-Durometer Elastomer MAX-C Bushings with a multi-axial composite design and have been completed in a silver powdercoated finish.

MAX-C Bushings. The Dual-Durometer MAX-C Bushing compound of these Rear LCAs helps dampen NVH, the reinforcement sleeve inside redistributes load to prevent binding or gapping and the PTFE liner serves as a lubricating agent for a grease-free, silent operation.

Application. This set of two Whiteline Performance Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Shelby GT500 models.

They Don't Look Durable

I question the durability of the pinch clamp. Metal fatigue may cause it to loosen prematurely and you will be down there constantly tightening the clamp.
