Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors and black calipers is engineered to enhance rear braking on high-performance vehicles. This kit upgrades the original equipment parking brake system to provide increased stopping power, durability, and compatibility with front big brake systems. It delivers improved braking balance and a stylish appearance for vehicles requiring greater brake capacity.
Construction and Appearance. It features 4-piston radial mount AERO4 calipers with stainless steel pistons and BP-10 compound pads, optimized for friction and wear resistance. The 14-inch rotors are precision-machined Spec-37 iron with drilled and slotted surfaces, finished in a durable black electro-coat for corrosion resistance and sleek aesthetics. Brake hats are aluminum with a black e-coat finish and designed to integrate seamlessly with the OE parking brake assembly.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, designed to mount on OEM rear end axle flanges with zero offset. Use of 1/8-inch aftermarket wheel spacers is recommended when installing with OE wheels to ensure proper clearance.
Application. This kit specifically fits 1997-2013 Corvette C5 and C6 models, utilizing the original equipment parking brake assembly to maintain functionality and compatibility.
