Description
High-Performance Front Brake Kit. The Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with 14.25-inch drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers is engineered to provide exceptional stopping power for heavy, high-performance vehicles and extreme-duty conditions. It is suitable for dual-purpose street and track use, offering consistent brake performance even under demanding environments such as towing and off-road. This kit enhances braking reliability while maintaining compatibility with original equipment brake master cylinders and ABS systems.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features six-piston AERO6 calipers made from durable materials, finished in red powder coat for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The rotors are constructed from high-quality Spec-37 iron with a black electro-coat finish to reduce rust and maintain a clean appearance. The rotors are drilled and slotted for improved heat dissipation and brake pad bite, and the aluminum hats are black E-coated, providing strength with reduced weight and a refined look.
Installation. Designed for factory disc spindles with radial mount caliper brackets, installation is straightforward without requiring spindle or hub modifications. Wheel clearance must accommodate a minimum 18-inch wheel diameter, and no drilling is required for mounting the brake components.
