Description
PERFORMANCE REAR BRAKE KIT. The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Slotted Rotors for OE Parking Brake offers enhanced braking performance for high-performance street and show applications. This kit provides improved stopping power while maintaining full use of the original equipment parking brake system. It is ideal for vehicles requiring upgraded rear braking capability alongside front brake and suspension enhancements.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The kit features forged Narrow Superlite 4R calipers with four stainless steel pistons for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Rotors are crafted from Spec-37 iron with a GT slotted design and finished with a durable black electro coat for corrosion protection and aesthetics. The aluminum parking brake hats are finished with a black e-coat for a clean professional look.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced automotive technicians and does not require drilling or major modifications when combined with proper wheel spacers. The kit is designed for direct fitment to OEM rear axle flanges with zero offset, supporting factory suspension and brake components.
APPLICATION. Designed specifically to fit 1997 through 2013 Corvette C5 and C6 models. No exceptions noted for vehicle fitment within this range. Installation requires consideration of wheel clearance and the use of 1/8 inch wheel spacers when utilizing OEM wheels.
