Description
Increases Stopping Power. The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Rear Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors provides an improvement over stock rotors. It features the powerful clamping action of Forged Dynalite 4-Piston calipers that provide outstanding braking performance. In combination with the rotors and pads included in the kit, this kit is ideal for street and competition use.
High-Quality Iron Rotors. The rotors are precision-machined from long grain carbon iron castings. The carbon iron is an excellent rotor material due to its long wear, thermal stability, and resistance to distortion when exposed to high temperatures.
Slotted and Vented Design. The slotted design of the rotors helps in venting dust and gasses generated during braking, helping to ensure a clean contact surface between the rotor and the pads. Additionally, the vented design improves heat dissipation to prevent brake fade.
High-Performance Street and Racing Compound. The kit comes with SmartPad BP-10 brake pads. These pads are specially formulated for street and track use and have improved friction and longer wear than stock replacement brake pads.
Low Dust and Noise. The BP-10 brake pads are specially formulated to have low abrasion on iron rotors. This results in lower dust and noise during braking.
Professional Installation Recommended. The brake kit is designed for direct fit upgrades and requires no additional fabrication. However, Wilwood recommends professional installation to ensure a safe installation.
Upgrade Kit. The kit comes with (2) Rotors, (2) Calipers, and a set of brake pads and installation hardware. Note that the kit does not come with parking brake lines, adapters, or hardware for mounting them and that these should be purchased separately.
Application. The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Rear Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors is designed to fit all 2005 to 2014 Ford Mustang models.
