The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Pro Series Rear Big Brake Kit with drilled and slotted rotors and black calipers is engineered to provide optimized and balanced braking specifically for muscle cars equipped with a Ford 8.8 rear axle. Designed for both off-road and competition use, this system enhances braking performance, safety, and control under demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. This kit features forged billet Dynalite four-piston calipers made from high-strength materials for durability and consistent performance. The rotors are iron with a black electro-coat finish, drilled and slotted to improve heat dissipation and extend rotor life. The calipers feature a black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance while complementing the vehicle's aesthetics.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward for those familiar with rear brake upgrades and requires no drilling or modification to existing axle components. The kit mounts directly to the factory lug mount points, simplifying the upgrade process.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979-1993 Mustang models with a Ford 8.8 rear axle and a 2.5-inch axle offset. Wheel clearance may vary, so verification against the wheel clearance diagram is recommended when using some 15-inch wheels.
