      Description

      Exceptional Stopping Power. The factory brakes are fine for those who use their Mustang as a daily driver, but if you find yourself carving corners at the track you want to know that your brakes can handle the extra heat generated. So, upgrade your Mustang to a Wilwood SX6R WCCB Carbon-Ceramic Front Big Brake Kit. By providing enough capability to shorten stopping distances, this kit is consequently ideal for extreme duty and race vehicles like your beloved Mustang.

      SX6R Brake Calipers. Wilwood's SX6R radial mount six piston brake calipers are forged from aluminum for lightweight and superior strength. These SX6R calipers feature stainless steel pistons with high-temp internal bore seals for dependable braking performance. Wilwood completes their brake calipers in a durable gloss black powder coated finish for aggressive good looks and long lasting corrosion protection.

      WCCB Carbon-Ceramic Rotors. The included plain face 15-inch, vented WCCB rotors are made from a proprietary blend ceramic matrix composite material commonly known as Carbon-Ceramic. WCCB rotors offer higher thermal conductivity and heat capacity in excess of conventional iron or titanium rotors of similar or even greater size. WCCB rotors have been developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking and wear.

      Complete Kit. Wilwood's SX6R Front Big Brake Kit includes SX6R 6-Piston calipers, high performance PCM brake pads, two piece 15-inch WCCD Carbon-Ceramic Rotors, braided stainless steel brake lines and all the hardware required for a straight forward bolt-on installation.

      Bolt-On Upgrade. Wilwood designed their SX6R Big Brake Kit to be a direct replacement of your stock Mustang calipers and rotors with the company’s exclusive Bobbin mounting system. Please note that minor modifications to the front spindle are required for installation. Expect to spend up to 4 hours to complete the install.

      Application. This Wilwood SX6R WCCB Carbon-Ceramic Front Big Brake Kit with Black Calipers is designed for use on 2015-2023 Ford Mustang models. Requires the use of 19-inch or larger rims for proper clearance.
